Economy Jutte

This traditional weapon was formerly used by Japanese law enforcement officers, especially during the Edo period when palace guards were not allowed to carry bladed weapons. The Jutte turned out to be really effective against wayward assassins and mouthy peasants because of the special kagi hook guard that allows the wielder to block an attack and then arrest the blade of a sword. Particularly skilled guards could use the Jutte to disarm an opponent.
