This is a metal bladed training version. The blade is completely blunt with a blackened metal for safety when in use. The cord is made from natural cotton and measures approximately 6m. The ring is made from heavy rubber (colors may vary).

The rubber ring is high density,but flexible with nice weight to it,the twine is above average, and the metal blade has a nice wrap on the handle with excellent weight. Very managable for speed knotting, disarming,and striking. I forsee this practice tool lasting for a good while. I am VERY happy with my purchase.
